Drivers and Fans: East Elementary school, that Lacey & Elyse teach at, is having their Annual "Wheel Deal Contest". All children at East Elementary will receive raffle tickets for reading specific books then taking a test - and getting a passing grade. OFFICIAL UPDATE: We are moving forward with racing tonight- Saturday, March 14, 2020. We have received official word that we are allowed to hold the event as planned. We had our quarterly Health Dept inspection approximately 30 minutes ago (we passed with flying colors as usual). The inspector commented, "ok, you are good to go. Have a great event tonight". The racing event this Saturday – March 21st – has been cancelled in an effort to support the governmental agencies recommendations to safeguard the public against the current health issues at hand. The health, safety, and well being of the 4-17 SSE fans, drivers, & crew members is, and will always be, the most important factor for Management when making decisions. Races for 3/28/20 are cancelled. With a sad heart, but an understanding mind- races have been cancelled for March 28th, along with the Cruise in and swap meet that was scheduled for 3/29/20. We are working to find a way to safely bring racing back to Charlotte County as soon as possible. As of 3/23/20 - we do plan to hold the April 11th race as scheduled.
